The Compass rainwater harvesting system was finally completed by staff and volunteers on the 7th March. It collects rainwater during the wetter months from the gutters and roof of the volunteer hub and stores it in large recycled containers ready for use in the garden area via a pipe and hose system in the drier months.

Thanks to our funders Aberdeen City Council / SUEZ and Kellas for supporting this vital project which will help us keep our organic garden well-watered during the summer.
